5 SEO Hacks that Helped me Gain Impressions on Google

These steps will improve your understanding of SEO and can help improve your SERP rankings.
I will talk about it later. That's how I got millions of impressions with non constant writing (some articles start ranking on the page after a month).

If you follow the steps I'm going to discuss, you can hit page one sooner than expected. As we all know, things works differently for everyone. If it works for me, it doesn't mean it will work for you (probably not as quickly as me. It all depends on the niche).

Here are 5 SEO hacks that helped me get 2M+ impressions on Google.

1. How many keywords are good for SEO?

I know many of you have this question in mind when you first think about SEO. Clearly, this is not fixed. It depends on the length of your essay.

Most SEO experts believe that 1% to 2% keyword density is enough for Google to understand the intent of your article. It's kind of true.

What I have observed is that when I was writing an 850-1000 word article, my targeted keyword was 7/8 times in the article. I never went to 10. But then it depends on other factors as well. Like how often you're using relevant keywords.

Related keywords are as important as primary keywords. It helps your article to rank on different keywords related to the main keyword. This improves your chance of reaching more people searching with relevant keywords.

That said, I would say, try to maintain 1-2% keyword density in your article.

Pro tip: Try to include your main keyword 2-4 times at the beginning of your article. This will help Google understand the intent of your article faster.

2. Optimize images for SEO

One thing that most new bloggers overlook is optimizing images for SEO.

If you don't know, there is also a ranking of images on Google. And in some cases, they also become a source of traffic.

Optimizing images for SEO is the second most important factor for your article. So whatever images you are using, optimize them using the following method.

Resize your photos. Large images drastically increase the load time of your post which hurts SEO. So try reducing the size using a free online compressor or Adobe Photoshop.

Avoid using a default name for your image. Some people don't bother to rename their photo. They keep it as "XYZ.jpg". Instead, use the name that your image conveys, such as the name of the product if you're using an image of it. For feature images, use your article title.

Use ALT tags. Google bots cannot visualize images. They need the text to read for better understanding. This is where ALT tags come into play. When you specify image alt tags, it helps bots understand the context and rank accordingly.

3. Write SEO friendly headlines.

What's the first thing people look for when they search for anything on Google?

Headline

A good and catchy headline attracts people to click on it. This is what improves your ranking on Google.

But what if your post never gets in front of them? How do you get them to click on it?

This only happens when your headline is not SEO friendly and that's why it didn't make it to the top.

In addition to writing catchy headlines, make sure your main keyword is included in your headline (especially at the beginning). This helps Google understand your content.

4. Don't forget the meta description.

Like headlines, meta descriptions also appear when people search for anything on Google.

The short description below the title is called the meta description. Google uses this to understand the context of your post and display it to people who are searching for it.

Even though Google automatically takes part of your article as a meta description (if you haven't taken one yourself), that doesn't mean you shouldn't. In some cases, what Google chooses may not be to your liking or to people searching the Internet.

So make sure you write a well-structured meta description yourself, including your main keywords.

5. Write long articles.

Last but not least, whatever articles you write, try to go above 1000 words.

A study by SerpIQ found that long articles rank higher in Google than short articles.

So whatever point you choose, write with lots of information and data. But don't bluff. Each of your words should provide significant value to your readers. This will make both your reader and Google happy.
