Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's new film Brahmastra has earned INR 160 crores in 2 days.

Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee shared the collection of two days' earnings on his Instagram social media account and said that there is no Brahmastra in the world bigger than love.

Brahmastra has released on 9 September in 5,019 screens in India and around 3,895 screens overseas.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Mouni Roy are also playing important roles in the film.

Brahmastra did a business of Rs 36 crore on the first day in India and a total of Rs 75 crore worldwide. While on the second day, it did a business of Rs. 42 crores in India and Rs. 85 crores worldwide.

The film sold in excess of 23 crore tickets for its initial end of the week. , 'Brahmastra' has beaten 'RRR' ahead of time appointments. However, 'Brahmastra' lags behind 'KGF 2' in this regard.
