A case has been registered against former Prime Minister Imran Khan under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan is expected to be arrested after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman was booked under the terrorism section for threatening Additional Sessions Judge and police officers.
According to the FIR, Magistrate Ali Javed took the stand that I along with my gunman was in the PTI rally organized for the release of Shehbaz Gul at F Nine Park in Islamabad which was led by Imran Khan and his In the speech, he started intimidating and threatening the Additional Sessions Judge and the higher officers.
He further said that 'Imran Khan's aim was to terrorize the top officials of the police and the judiciary so that the police and the judiciary could not fulfill their legal obligations'.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also expressed fear that the government is planning to arrest Imran Khan.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the lights of Bani Gala have been switched off. On the other hand, the police personnel are doing their routine duty at the check post at Imran Khan Chowk, but PTI workers are gathering outside Imran Khan's residence.
Apart from this, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had also announced legal action while PEMRA has also banned Imran Khan by addressing him directly.
