A few days ago, it was reported that Pakistan's leading cleric Maulana Tariq Jameel has launched a clothing brand under his own name. However, Tariq Jameel has issued an explanatory message in this regard.
In his message, Maulana Tariq Jameel said that he was not launching the brand with any business intention or against anyone but to make the madrassas stand on their feet.
He said that this brand is being launched so that at least my madrassas can stand on their own feet and this trend will continue even after I leave this world.

Maulana Sahib said, “In the subcontinent, it is considered a defect for scholars to do business or trade. It is not known where this came from, although in the time of Imam Abu Hanifa, whose fatwas we (Muslims) believe, there was no greater cloth merchant than him.
In a video message Maulana Tariq Jameel said, "Madrasa Al Hasnain was founded in Faisalabad during 2000. 10 branches of this madrassa were established in different cities. Our students are teaching here and education is given in Arabic. ”
